Caucuses

 The Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Caucus is a space for young AANHPI Democrats to celebrate their heritage, build political power, and advocate for issues that impact their communities. We work to increase representation, combat discrimination, and push for policies that uplift our diverse cultures and histories.

 Art is a form of activism and a way to preserve culture. The Art is Heritage Caucus is a space for young artists and creatives to use their voices, advocate for the arts, and push for policies that support the role of art in our society.

 The Black Caucus is a community space for young Black Democrats to connect, organize, and advocate for racial justice. We work to address systemic inequities, support Black leadership, and uplift Black voices in Arizona’s political landscape.

Our environment is at stake, and young leaders must take action. The Climate and Conservation Action Caucus focuses on sustainable policies, environmental justice, and combating climate change through grassroots organizing and legislative advocacy.

The Education Caucus is committed to ensuring that young Democrats have a voice in shaping the future of education policy. We advocate for equitable access to quality education, increased funding for public schools, and policies that support students, teachers, and communities. By engaging in discussions on education reform, hosting informative events, and amplifying student voices, we strive to create lasting change in our education system.

The Hispanic Caucus is a space for those who identify with or have roots in Hispanic cultures, including people of Latin American, Spanish, and other Spanish-speaking heritages. We work to uplift Hispanic voices, increase political engagement, and advocate for policies that support economic, social, and cultural empowerment across Hispanic communities.

The Indigenous Peoples Caucus is a space for Native and Indigenous Young Democrats to build community, advocate for tribal sovereignty, and push for policies that protect Indigenous rights, land, and culture. We work to ensure Indigenous voices are represented in Arizona’s political landscape and fight for justice and equity for Native communities.

The Labor Union Caucus stands in solidarity with workers and labor organizations fighting for fair wages, safe working conditions, and strong protections. We work to educate young Democrats on labor rights, union organizing, and policies that support the working class. By uplifting labor movements and advocating for pro-worker legislation, we help build a future where all workers are valued and empowered.
