The Black Caucus is a powerful space for young Black Democrats to come together, organize, and advocate for policies that address the unique needs and challenges of Black communities. This caucus works to ensure that Black voices are heard in all aspects of the political process and strives to advance policies that promote racial equity, justice, and empowerment. What We Do:

Karlyn Bradley (They/Them) is a Black, Fat, Queer, Femme scholar, theorist, community organizer, artist, and educator. They hold degrees in Political Science and Gender & Women's Studies from the University of Arizona. With a deep understanding of Intersectional Feminist Theory, Karlyn creates programming that educates and empowers communities on issues of race, gender, sexual orientation, and power dynamics. Their studies have also shaped their ability to critically analyze policy through a critical race feminist lens.
In 2021, Karlyn founded The High Priestess Consulting Company LLC (HPCC), a firm dedicated to helping individuals, communities, and organizations navigate systemic, political, and social challenges through workshops and trainings. Inspired by the High Priestess in Tarot, HPCC empowers people to reconnect with their innate wisdom and personal power.
Outside of their community work, Karlyn enjoys cooking and sharing meals with friends, watching movies, and working on their podcast, Beneath The Surface. They are also a poet, artist, and self-proclaimed Amateur Top Model, with a love for Scandal. Originally from Southern California, Karlyn now resides in Phoenix, Arizona, on the traditional lands of the Akimel O’odham and Hohokam peoples.
